Adani Group's transmission arm, Adani Transmission Ltd, posted a standalone net profit of Rs 3.58 crore for the quarter ended June 2017 against a net loss of Rs 26.02 crore in the same quarter last year. The company's total standalone income stood at Rs 312 crore for the quarter under review, as against Rs 172 crore for the same quarter last year.
On consolidated basis, the company's net profit stood at Rs 84 crore, which was down by about 32 per cent from Rs 123 crore reported in the same quarter of the previous year. Consolidated total income stood at Rs 620 crore for the quarter, down from Rs 637 crore in the corresponding period last year, a company filing with the stock exchanges said.
ATL shares lost close to 5 per cent to trade at Rs 117 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) in afternoon trade on Thursday.
