Vadodara-based Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 71 crore during the quarter ended December 31, 2014 against Rs 66 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year, indicating a year-on-year growth of 7 per cent.
Revenues increased by 6 per cent to Rs 515 crore during the quarter compared with Rs 487 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, the company informed in a statement.
EBITDA margins for the quarter ended December 31, 2014 stood at 19.9 per cent at Rs 102.5 crore against 21 per cent at Rs 102.2 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Alembic Pharma shares closed at Rs 434.40, up 1.11 per cent on the BSE.
