Are you a start-up trying to address a social challenge? Indian Angel Network (IAN) is inviting a group of experts to vet your ideas and give you feedback.
The national network of investors that focuses on hand-holding start-ups has called for applications from start-ups, which work on products and services that make a “positive impact on society.” The hand-picked ideas from the ‘for profit’ start-ups will get a chance to have one-on-one sessions with experts to validate their ideas.
The workshop will happen in New Delhi on February 13.
The IAN has called for applications from start-ups that are working on issues such as women empowerment, poverty alleviation, environment, livelihood for the financially challenged, agriculture and rural development, and financial inclusion.
The IAN, however, has said this is not an investor pitch session. “Our intention is to review the presentations and give expert opinions on the ideas,” the IAN said in an announcement.
