Ramky Infrastructure Ltd, through a step-down subsidiary, has signed a concession agreement with National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for a Rs 1,033.65-crore road project (a tollway) in Karnataka.
The company, through concessionaire company Hospet Chitradurga Tollways Ltd, has signed the agreement with NHAI to undertake this project.
Ramky Infra, the Hyderabad-based infrastructure company, was awarded the road project by NHAI to undertake the four-laning of Hospet-Chitradurga section of NH-13 from km 299 to km 418 in Karnataka under the National Highway Development Project (NHDP) Phase II.
The project is to be executed under the design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) basis in built, operate and transfer (BOT) mode. This is a tollway.
According to a filing with the stock exchanges, the company has been extended a concession period of 25 years for the project. This includes construction period of 910 days.
