Bajaj Auto has posted an overall 3 per cent increase in sales during July on the back of improvement in its numbers in the domestic market, with total sales of 3.3 lakh units versus 3.19 lakh units in July 2014.
Exports during the month dipped by 3 per cent to 1.65 lakh units against 1.70 lakh units in the same month last year. Domestic sales saw a growth of 10.7 per cent.
On the motorcycles front, Bajaj Auto’s total sales grew 5 per cent to 2.82 lakh units (2.68 lakh units). Sales of commercial vehicles stood 7 per cent lower at 47,798 units versus 51,451 units.
