Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL), a defence public sector, has paid a total dividend of 223 per cent to the Union Government for 2012-13.
Anil Kumar, CMD, presented the 163 per cent final dividend cheque of Rs 98.92 crore to the Defence Minister, A. K. Antony, in New Delhi.
The 60-per-cent interim dividend of Rs 36.41 crore was paid to the Government in February.
