West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (WBSEDCL) has received the SAP ACE Award for successful implementation of enterprise resource planning (ERP) at all its units.
WBSEDCL has implemented ERP in phases to integrate its key operations such as procurement, inventory management, projects, maintenance and human resource management.
In 2014, WBSEDCL, which has 1.65 crore consumers, was the first power utility in the country to receive the SAP India award for R-APDRP.
