Blue Star has reported a 36 per cent increase in net profit at ₹31 crore for the first quarter ended June. The air conditioning and commercial refrigeration major reported a 10 per cent increase in total operating income from ₹845.48 crore for the quarter compared with ₹770.82 crore. EPS (face value of ₹2) stood at ₹3.45 against ₹2.53 in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
