The three-day CAI 2015, a fair on construction, architecture and interiors which came to a close today, saw enthusiastic participation by leading brands in the field.

Over the last three days more than 12,000 visitors thronged to the fair organised by the Hindu BusinessLine , India’s leading financial daily, and I ads & Events, a prominent event management player with over a decade’s experience in the line.

Visitors got an update on the latest products and services in the market catering to the business of built-up space.

More than 70 leading brands and companies showcased what they had on offer.

The annual event, which is in its third edition, continues to grow in strength year-to-year. JSW Cement, with interests across various core economic sectors, and JSW Steel, India’s leading private sector steel producer, were the title sponsors.

The event was powered by Kamai Elevators, manufacturer of high quality, reliable and safe passenger elevators.

Green products

With buildings increasingly becoming energy efficient and environment friendly, there is a focus on green building products.

A whole host of developments in this field were on display such as Vermiculite tiles by Tamin.

The product Vermitile is a solar reflecting roof tile that is also an efficient weathering material that prevents water intrusion and is durable.
