Central Bank of India has opened its regional office at Warangal, one of the major cities of Telangana today.
The region will cover 7 districts of Adilabad, Nizamabad, Medak, Karimnagar, Khammam, Nalgonda and Warangal, with a total of 33 branches at present.
B K Divakara, Executive Director, Central Bank inaugurated the premises at a function. There is a proposal to open 6 more branches. The region has a total business of Rs 1,130 crore, with deposits of Rs 396 crore and advances of Rs 734 crore.
At present, the Hyderabad Zone of the bank consists of six regions spread across Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka with a total network of 321 branches. The Zone has a total business of Rs 30,793 cr with deposits of Rs 13,984 cr and advances of Rs 16,809 crore.
