Five labour unions, including the Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh affiliated to the BJP, have sent legal notice for a six-day nationwide strike by workers of Coal India and Singareni Collieries from January 10. The workers have demanded withdrawal of the Coal Mines (Special Provisions) Ordinance and stopping the divestment in Coal India.
