The board of Colgate Palmolive has declared a second interim dividend for the financial year 2016-17 of ₹3 per share of ₹1 each (face value) on the expanded capital base post the bonus issue.
The dividend payout to the shareholders will be ₹98.2 crore (inclusive of the dividend distribution tax of ₹16.6 crore) and will be paid on December 27, 2016, to those shareholders whose names are on the Register of Members as on December 16, 2016.
Including the first interim dividend of ₹4 per share declared in October 2016, the company has declared a total interim dividend of ₹7/share for the eight months up to November 2016.
