Colgate Palmolive has informed the BSE that the voluntary retirement scheme offered to the employees of its toothpowder manufacturing factory at Aurangabad has been accepted.
Since workmen accepted the offer under the said scheme, manufacturing operations at the Aurangabad factory have been discontinued effective from May 5.
It has further clarified that discontinuation of operations at the above facility will not impact its toothpowder business as it has sufficient inventory and alternatives to cater to market demand.
