Dabur India on Tuesday said it expects operations at its Nepal plant to return to normal in due course of time after the goods movement across the Nepal and India border has started. The unrest which led to the blockade of certain border crossings between the two countries had come to an end recently.
In a BSE filing, the company said, “We expect operations at our Nepal subsidiary’s plant to return to normal in due course of time and we will be in a much better position to service the peak season demand for juices going forward.
“Therefore, on account of the supply chain issue from Nepal, we do not see any significant adverse impact on juice business sale in the fourth quarter going forward.”
