The promoters of Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals have enhanced their controlling stake from 45.46 per cent to 50.06 per cent, through open market acquisition, in January-March quarter.
The share acquisition spree began in February this year with Chairman and Managing Director Sailesh Chimanlal Mehta enhancing his holdings from 21.86 per cent to 24.13 per cent.
Since then, Parul Sailesh Mehta - Sailesh’s wife and a director on board of Deepak Fertilisers – enhanced her stake from 1.13 per cent to 3.46 per cent. The last such purchase was made on March 30.
