Drug firm Divis Laboratories today reported a 40.76 per cent rise in standalone net profit to Rs 322.22 crore for the fourth quarter ended March, mainly on account of robust sales.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 228.91 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Divis Laboratories said in a BSE filing.
Standalone total income from operations also rose to Rs 1,095.38 crore for the quarter under consideration as against Rs 817.09 crore in the year-ago period.
For the fiscal ended March this year, the company posted a net profit of Rs 1,107.69 crore. It was Rs 847.06 crore for the previous fiscal year.
Standalone total income from operations of the company also rose to Rs 3,721.33 crore for the recently concluded fiscal from Rs 3,084.01 crore for the same period a year-ago.
In a separate filing, the company said its board has recommended the declared interim dividend of Rs 10 per share as final dividend for the year ended March 31, 2016.
