Engineers India Ltd (EIL) formally entered into a contract with Dangote Oil Refining Company of Nigeria on Wednesday, to undertake project management consultancy and engineering, procurement and construction work for a 40 barrel per day petroleum refinery and 600,000 tonnes per annum polypropylene plant.
The contract worth $139 million was signed on June 2 for the plants to come up in the Lekki Free Trade Zone near Lagos, Nigeria. This will be the largest every single consultancy assigned for EIL, the company said in a statement.
