Heavy engineering player, Elecon Engineering Company Ltd, has registered 46 per cent jump in net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, 2014.
The company has posted a net profit of Rs 6.48 crore during the quarter against Rs 4.43 crore in the same period previous year.
Revenues for the quarter stood at Rs 112 crore against Rs 111 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year, showing a marginal growth of 0.86 per cent.
The company shares ended with a loss of 6.6 per cent at Rs 49.30 on the Bombay Stock Exchange on Thursday.
