Andhra Pradesh Grameena Vikas Bank (APGVB) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with International Tractors Ltd, Hosiarpur, Punjab, to extend finance to farmers for purchase of ‘Sonalika’ tractors. “The MoU is to cooperate, promote market and make organised finance facility available for purchase of the tractor,’’ K. Lakshmana Rao, Chairman, APGVB, said in a release on Thursday. The regional rural bank will also issue about 66,000 kisan credit cards by next week, he added.
