The Gateway Hotels and Resorts said it has signed up a resort under management contract in Damdama, Gurgaon, which will be developed by Samak Dhoot Resorts and Spa Private Ltd. The company said this will be the first resort that has been signed under the brand. Spread over 16 acres, the 78-room resort will be a mix of villas and rooms, the company said.
In a statement, Raymond Bickson, Managing Director and CEO, Indian Hotels Company Ltd, said, “The signing of the Gateway Resort Damdama follows the successful launch of our 100th hotel in India, Vivanta by Taj - Gurgaon, also in the National Capital Region of Gurgaon. This is also aligned with the growth strategy of the organisation to expand our hotels in the leisure and business destinations in the upscale segment where there is immense potential.”
