GOCL Corporation Ltd has posted a lower net profit of ₹0.95 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, as against a profit of ₹3 crore for the corresponding quarter last year, on a standalone basis.
The Hinduja Group company income from operations for the fourth quarter was ₹24.19 crore as against ₹31.26 crore for the same period last year.
For the financial year ended March 31, the company posted a net profit of ₹17.60 crore (₹30.68 crore) and income of ₹107.53 crore (₹115.09 crore)on a standalone basis.
On a consolidated basis, the company’s net profit for the financial year ended March 31 was ₹26.93 crore (₹41.61 crore) and income was ₹536.73 crore (₹430.88 crore).
SubsidiaryThe company’s wholly-owned subsidiary IDL Explosives Ltd reported a turnover of ₹450 crore, an increase of 34 per cent for the year. While the energetics division achieved sales of ₹20 crore, the mining division posted sales of ₹20.17 crore.
The board of directors recommended a dividend of 75 per cent of ₹1.50 per share. GOCL shares closed at ₹166.65, down 2.71 per cent at BSE.
