Heritage Foods (India) Ltd has informed the BSE that the Board of Directors of the company at its meeting on Monday decided to change the company name.
Other decisions include setting up of a 2 MW solar power plant for captive consumption and induction of N. Brahmani as an Additional Director.
Following the move, the Company will change its name from "Heritage Foods (India) Limited" to "Heritage Limited" by deleting the word 'Foods (India)’ in the existing name.
This is subject to the approval of the Ministry of the Corporate Affairs, Govt of the India and shareholders of the company.
