Hindustan Powerprojects will set up three solar projects, having total capacity of 50 MW, in Punjab and Uttar Pradesh for an estimated Rs 400 crore.
Hindustan Cleanenergy Ltd, part of the company, has entered into power purchase agreement (PPA) for two solar projects, each having 15 MW capacity with Punjab government.
Another PPA has been executed with Uttar Pradesh government for a 20 MW solar plant.

Hindustan Powerprojects chairman, Ratul Puri said it would invest about Rs 400 crore towards commissioning of the projects.
“The solar farms in Punjab will generate around 46 million units per annum of clean energy... the one in Uttar Pradesh will be instrumental in generating 32 million units per annum of clean energy,” the statement said.
