Budget hotel aggregator OYO has introduced its mid-market hotels branded as Townhouse in Bengaluru.

The Townhouse is a concept introduced by OYO which combines home, cafe and shopping experience delivered at hotels in accessible locations with an intent to attract young students and workers.

These aggregated hotels priced from ₹2,500 upwards will be available across the city, something which OYO has launched in other cities.

The Townhouse properties are leased, and OYO will undertake complete operations of these units, which include interior and exterior construction with a group of architects and structural engineers.

According to Abhinav Sinha, COO-OYO, said that Townhouse utilises our technology and patented processes to deliver a better hospitality experience. “Townhouse’s neighbourhood connect is a result of understanding that millennials like to switch from work to play, freedom to choose, change and decide quickly but this flexibility is not extended to quality and consistency of service,” he added.

Bengaluru is the sixth location of its townhouse offering, which is present in other locations like NCR, Hyderabad.

The budget hotel aggregator has also entered into a partnership with Karnataka Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) to operate a few of the Jungle Lodge Resort (JLR) properties.

OYO has over 70,000 rooms in 200 cities in India, Malaysia and Nepal where it launched operations recently.
