Nephroplus, a start-up focussed on affordable dialysis care services, plans to increase the network of its centres to 150 from the present 26 units in three years. The reach would go up to 20 States from 10 now. It might also go for a public issue once it crosses the “critical mass” of 100 units. IFC, a World Bank Group member, has put in $7 million, Bessemer Venture, a US-based global venture capital firm, has invested $3 million in the start-up.
