IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Ltd has received a Letter of Intent to construct Hyderabad’s first Integrated Multilevel Automated Car Parking facility.
The project is for Charminar Robo Park Ltd, a special purpose vehicle formed by Futureage Consortium for a total value of Rs 35.04 crore at Khilwat in Hyderabad.
IL&FS Engineering Services was shortlisted as the preferred turnkey contractor. The project is expected to be completed in 14 months.
This multilevel automated car parking facility is an initiative of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to decongest parking spaces, and is the first one in Hyderabad. Once completed, it would be able to accommodate 440 cars and 250 scooters.
The scope of work includes design engineering, civil and structural works.
