IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Ltd has received a Letter of Acceptance for a road contract from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways through the public works department of the Karnataka government.
The Rs 242.56-crore project involves widening of two/ four lanes with paved shoulders from Km 54.37 to Km 101.400 in the Bidar to Humnabad section of NH-50. The project, to be executed in the EPC mode, is to be completed within 24 months.
IL&FS Engineering Services is currently executing a metro rail contract in Karnataka for Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. The contract is valued at Rs 326.99 crore.
