IVRCL Limited has announced that the Irrigation and water divisions of the company bagged orders worth Rs 1,255.67 crore.

This includes a Rs 1,022.58 crore order from Karnataka Neeravari Nigam Ltd, Tubchi-Habaleshwar Lift Head Works under Lift Irrigation Scheme. This scheme envisages utilising Krishna water to develop the drought prone areas in Jamakhandi, Athani and Bijapur taluks in Karnataka.

While the biggest order was for irrigation works in a lift irrigation scheme in Karnataka, the orders for water division were for works in Rajasthan and Maharashtra.

The other orders were for water works worth ₹137.49 crore from BHEL in its Suratgarh Super Critical TPS in Rajasthan and for ₹95.60 crore from Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran urban and rural scheme division, Nagpur.

The IVRCL stock was up 3.73 per cent at Rs 15.30 on the NSE in morning trade.
