Jet Airways (India) Ltd has appointed Cramer Ball as the Chief Executive Officer, subject to requisite government and regulatory approvals including security clearance.

Ball, who has almost two decades of senior level experience in the aviation industry, had completed a two-year term as the CEO of Air Seychelles. Gaurang Shetty, Director and Manager, will continue to lead Jet Airways till the requisite approvals are obtained, the company said in a statement.

Earlier this month, Naresh Goyal-promoted Jet Airways’ chief financial officer and acting chief executive officer (CEO) Ravishankar Gopalakrishnan had resigned. The company, however, did not give a reason for the resignation.
