Kansai Nerolac Paints has posted a 40 per cent rise in net profit at ₹73 crore (₹52 crore) for the quarter ended September 30. Total income rose 17 per cent to ₹923 crore (₹792 crore). HM Bharuka, MD, Kansai Nerolac Paints, said: “The trend towards demand recovery continued in the quarter across all segments. While crude prices have fallen, we are hopeful that the prices of derivatives of crude will also go down in the near future, along with a reduction in interest rates, which will have a further positive impact on sentiment. ”
