Khaitan Electricals said in view of negligible production, it has declared a "temporary suspension of work till further notice" at its Kolkata works.
In a communication to the stock exchanges, the company said the suspension of work was not likely to have any major impact on the overall performance as it had already started increasing production at its Hyderabad and Faridabad works and intends to transfer the workers at Kolkata to Hyderabad and Faridabad.
