HLL Lifecare has launched a low-cost device for temporarily immobilising injured limbs of trauma patients for pre-hospital care.
Called HiCARE LIMO, the device is a simple, disposable and cost-effective apparatus, which temporarily immobilises lower limbs of trauma patients for up to six hours till definitive care is provided.
Present on the occasion were K. Vijay Raghavan, Secretary, Department of Biotechnology, Union Ministry of Science and Technology; R. K. Shevgaonkar, Director, IIT-Delhi; and M. Ayyappan, CMD, HLL Lifecare.
