MAN Trucks India, a 100 per cent subsidiary of MAN Truck & Bus AG, Germany, has inaugurated a new dealership for its commercial vehicle brand in Vijayawada, the 60th touch-point for its trucks in the country.
The new dealership, set up by Asha Automine, is spread over 56,000 sq.ft. and boasts the latest equipment, five service bays and sophisticated infrastructure.
Joerg Mommertz, Chairman and Managing Director, MAN Trucks India said in a statement: “Andhra Pradesh is one of the key markets in the south and this new dealership will enhance our presence as the market provides a huge opportunity. We are sure of meeting the specific transportation requirements of customers in the region and are offering customised solutions with our world-class products. With this new dealership, we look forward to considerably improving our presence in Andhra Pradesh.”
Headquartered in Munich, Germany, MAN Trucks offers a range of products and services in the commercial vehicle industry.
In 2016, MAN Trucks India celebrated 10 years in the Indian market. The company’s production facility at Pithampur in Madhya Pradesh has produced over 23,000 vehicles for the domestic and international markets.
