Country’s largest car maker, Maruti Suzuki today said it has partnered with Maharashtra Highway Police to promote road safety in the state.
Under the collaboration, a co-branded vehicle will cover nine cities in the state to spread awareness on safe driving practices across schools, colleges and communities, a company press release said here.
During the road safety campaign, a Maharashtra Highway Police and Maruti Suzuki co-branded vehicle will zig zag across Pune, Nashik, Baramati, Thane, Kalyan, Panvel, Nerul, Vashi and Khargar, covering residential areas and colleges, it said.
The initiative was formally inaugurated by the Maharashtra home minister, R R Patil.
