McDonald's opened its first restaurant at the CMR Central Mall in the city on Monday.
It was the third outlet in Andhra Pradesh, the other two being in Vijayawada and Nellore.
Hardcastle Restaurants Pvt. Ltd (HRPL), the master franchisee of McDnald’s operations in West and South India, has entered the thirty-sixth city taking the count to 103 in South India.
The city’s outlet also has the State’s first McCafe to offer a wide range of premium coffee from cappuccino to latte to iced mocha and frappe.
HRPL’s Business Operations Director (South) Gerald Dias told reporters here on Monday that the restaurant in the city was spread over 3,000 sft in the food court of CMR Central Mall with facility to accommodate 75 guests and a separate room for kids and other small parties numbering 25.
“With its best-in-class service synonymous with the brand’s restaurants worldwide, customers will now also enjoy privilege like free Wi-Fi. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. with separate kitchens for vegetarian and non-vegetarian and personalised service,” he added.
