Automotive major Mahindra & Mahindra has launched a new Verito executive edition of its sedan. This new variant brings in more options for a discerning buyer. The launch of the executive edition at an ex-showroom price of Rs 7.75 lakh is aimed at corporate executives, professionals and businesspeople.

The special edition comes in Pearl White colour and sports a premium interior and exterior. It packs Italian leather upholstery, touch screen navigation and various other convenience features for communication such as Bluetooth.

Pravin Shah, Chief Executive, Automotive Division, Mahindra Mahindra, in a statement said, “The Verito Edition will add a premium and aspirational quotient to the sedan. The features have been chosen to meet the increasing demand and aspiration for a stylish sedan.”

The car comes with the Renault 1.5 litre DCi engine and 1.6 litre MPFi engine options.

Lower duties

The company is also working on a shortened version of Verito and expects to launch it before March. This shortened version of the car, less than four metres in length, will help the company bring down the cost by about Rs 60,000 to Rs 80,000. Cars of less than four-metre length attract lower duties.
