MRF has reported a 72 per cent jump in net profit for the fourth quarter ending September 30, 2014, on a standalone basis.
The company, which follows an October – September financial year, has reported a net profit of ₹316.91 crore (₹184.10 crore) on a total income from operations of ₹3,361.12 crore (₹3,147.45 crore) for the quarter ended September 30, 2014.
The tyre manufacturer has announced a final dividend of ₹44 an equity share of ₹10, taking the total dividend to ₹50.
During the year the company incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary in Singapore, MRF SG Pte Ltd.
For the year ending September 30, 2014, the company reported a net profit of ₹897.89 crore (₹802.21 crore) on a total income of ₹13,197.58 crore (₹12,131.16 crore).
On a consolidated basis, the net profit for the year was ₹908.32 crore (₹808.61 crore) on a total income of ₹ 13,329.29 crore (₹12,248.22 crore).
