Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) has commissioned a Petrochemical Fluidized Catalytic Cracking (PFCC) unit at its plant in Mangalore.
The company informed the stock exchanges that the unit was successfully commissioned today (August 27) in MRPL’s phase-III expansion project.
The commissioning of the PFCC unit will increase the production of propylene, which is a feed for the polypropylene unit, and also of LPG and light distillates, it added.
