Nalco reported a net profit of ₹131 crore in the third quarter to December 31, 2013, up 10 per cent from ₹119 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
Aluminium production in the third quarter of this fiscal has gone down to 7.9 million tonnes, against 1.00 lakh tonnes achieved in the same quarter of the previous year.
Power generation also dropped to 1,249 million units in Q3 form 1,525 million units of the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
