NMDC Ltd has drawn up a growth plan to attain production of 100 million tonnes per annum by 2022 from the present production level of 30 million tonnes per annum, more than tripling its output.
A two-day workshop was conducted at Srinagar on May 17-18 to strategise plans for the future, according to a statement from NMDC.
The meeting was attended by the entire top management of the company including directors of NMDC headed by Narendra Kothari, Chairman and Managing Director of NMDC.
The brain storming sessions were aimed to finalise its growth plan with specific action plan.
Narendra Kothari also met Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir and briefed him about the NMDC activities, according to the statement.
