Iron ore producer NMDC today said it has kept prices of its products unchanged for the month of August, a development that will bring some relief to steel makers.
The miner will continue its July rates for this month, which are Rs 4,600 a tonne for iron ore lumps and Rs 3,160 for fines.
The company currently fixes its prices on a monthly basis going by the demand-supply position and international prices.
In the first four months of the current fiscal, NMDC produced 9.88 million tonnes, up from 8.87 million tonnes in the corresponding period of last fiscal.
