Software solutions provider to banking and financial organisations globally, Nucleus Software Exports, on Monday reported a net profit of ₹18.84 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2014.

This was up 80 per cent compared with ₹10.45 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, the company said in a statement.

Consolidated revenues of the company also rose 19 per cent to ₹87.69 crore from software products and software development services from ₹73.44 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year.

Earnings per share for the quarter stood at ₹5.82 against ₹3.23 in the corresponding quarter of 2013.

“We have experienced market success with the mobility platform of our FinnOne Lending suite and FinnAxia. Going forward, we will sharpen our focus on product innovation capabilities, market reach and implementation operations to strengthen our position,” Vishnu R Dusad, Chief Executive Officer, Nucleus Software, said.

As of March 31, 2014, the company’s headcount stood at 1,520. It has around 150 customers across the globe.

The company’s shares were trading at ₹ 212.95 at 2.50 p.m. on the BSE, down 7.65 per cent from the previous close.
