Real estate company Oberoi Realty’s net profit grew by 31.7 per cent in the third quarter ended December 2012 against the year ago-period.
The company’s net profit for the quarterly period ended December 31 2012 stood at Rs 134.46 crore against Rs 102.07 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Commenting on the quarterly results, Chairman and Managing Director of Oberoi Realty, Vikas Oberoi said, “There continues to be demand of quality projects by reputed developers at the right price.
“We have managed to keep our order book robust and growth steady. We will continue to explore the right opportunities to acquire land that make business sense for the company.”
The company’s net sales for the period stood at Rs 284.79 against Rs 185.72 crore year-on-year.
On Friday, the Oberoi Realty scrip closed at Rs 315.70 on the BSE, up 1.66 per cent from its price at the end of Thursday’s trading.
