Medical equipment maker Opto Circuits India on Monday posted 3.98 per cent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 116.23 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2012.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 121.05 crore during the corresponding period of previous fiscal, Opto Circuits (India) said in a filing to the BSE.
Net sales of the company, however, rose to Rs 607 crore during the second quarter compared to Rs 562.04 crore in the same period of previous fiscal.
On a standalone basis, the company posted a net profit of Rs 65.04 crore during the second quarter, against Rs 57.59 crore during the same period of 2011-12 fiscal.
Shares of Opto Circuits today closed at Rs 121.50 on the BSE, down 2.41 per cent from its previous close.
