Persistent Systems, the BSE-listed software product development company, has reported a 29.5 per cent rise in consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2014 largely due to higher sales.
The Pune-based company recorded a net profit of Rs 67.2 crore in Q4 as against Rs 51.9 crore in the corresponding year-ago quarter.
Revenue rose by 33.8 per cent to Rs 446.7 crore (Rs 334 crore).
For the full year ended March 31, 2014, Persistent reported a 32.9 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 249.3 crore while revenue went up by 28.9 per cent to Rs 1,669.1 crore.
