New York Stock Exchange-listed technology solution provider company Pitney Bowes announced the Pitney Bowes Accelerator programme to incubate software start-up companies in India.
The programme is a part of NASSCOM’s 10,000 start-ups initiative and will kick-off on May 1 by accepting applications from software start-ups, said the company in a press statement.
Pitney Bowes will focus on start-ups that leverage software for mobile, data analytics, location-based services, and e-commerce management. Selected start-ups will have unlimited access to Pitney Bowes’ software, application programming interfaces (APIs) and data for the duration of the programme.
According to the company, training, technical and business guidance and mentoring will be provided to the start-ups from Pitney Bowes engineering and innovation leaders and from software industry experts. In addition to these strategic connections, start-ups in the Pitney Bowes Accelerator programme will also be networking with prospective investors.
