Public sector financer REC Ltd on Thursday said it has given a loan of Rs 8,775 crore to NTPC Ltd.
The loan agreement has been executed with Nabinagar Power Generation Co. Pvt. Ltd, a joint venture between NTPC and the Bihar State Electricity Board.
The funds would be utilised for the 3x660-MW Nabinagar Super Thermal Power project situated in Aurangabad, Bihar.
