The Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL) has increased the prices of its steel products by Rs 500 a tonne from January 1, according to a press release. The expectations are that the steel market is likely to improve with increased demand for steel in the market and that prices are firming up both in domestic and global markets, adds the release. The saleable steel production of 2,70,000 tonnes in December was the best in the current financial year.
