Robert Bosch will acquire Siemens’ 50 per cent stake in the household appliances’ joint venture, BSH Bosch, for a total value of €3 billion. In India, the joint venture sells refrigerators, washing machines and dish washers under Siemens and Bosch brands separately. The transaction, which still requires regulatory approval, will probably be completed in the first half of 2015. After the acquisition, BSH will become a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bosch Group.
