Sagar Cements Ltd has posted Rs 282 crore net profit in the second quarter ended September 30, 2014.
In the year-ago period, the Hyderabad-based company incurred Rs 1.15 crore loss.
Revenues increased by 23.6 per cent to Rs 125 crore. Other income included Rs 349-crore profit realised from the stake sale of the company's joint venture with Vicat group, Sagar Cements said in a filing to the BSE.
The board of directors announced an interim dividend of Rs 5 per share for the year ending March 30, 2015.
